The planning application for the community gardens in Station Road adjacent to Sainsbury’s have been approved by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council Planning Committee.

East Midlands Trains have introduced a new payment system at Alsager and Kidsgrove Stations where customers can simply use a phone to pay for their parking.
Called ‘RingGo’ the system means customers won’t need to make sure they have the cash or change to pay for their parking – making it even easier to travel by train, and time-pressed commuters will benefit of not having to buy a pay and display ticket and return to their vehicle when they’re in a rush. Another serious accident at the dangerous Linley Road/Linley Lane junction has prompted concerned residents to set up a petition to get traffic lights installed as a matter of urgency.
