Cadbury Easter Trail Become an Eggsplorer for the day! Join us this Easter weekend for the Cadbury Easter Egg Trail around the garden. Run around the garden, hunting high and low, under rocks and in trees for the hidden eggs! Discover them all to find the easter bunny! If you manage to track him down you can then enjoy your delicious Cadbury egghead! The prize at the end of your adventure will be a Cadbury Egghead. Alsager station ‘twins’ with Rose Hill

North Staffordshire Community Rail Partnership (NSCRP) launched a new project at Alsager station on Friday 22 May.
Called ‘station twinning’ the project aims to join North Staffordshire Line station volunteers with volunteers from other areas of the rail network to share ideas through reciprocal visits to improve their stations for passengers. Alsager station, on East Midlands Trains Crewe-Derby route, and Rose Hill station, Marple, which provides services to Manchester Piccadilly, were both formerly stations on the old North Staffordshire Railway. The stations’ volunteer teams were also fellow winners at the annual Cheshire Best Kept Stations awards, so had an ideal foundation to be the first station ‘twins’.
Call for speed cameras on #kidsgrove bank

A car crash that closed the road at the top of Kidsgrove Bank for several hours has led to calls for speed cameras to be sited there.
The car knocked down a telegraph pole and bent a lamppost near the junction with Mobberley Road as it travelled along the A50 towards Goldenhill. [Read more…]
