Complaints about revving engines and wheel spinning at Biddulph Sainsbury’s car park late a night have led to police warning young drivers that they may have their car seized.
Some ‘Boy Racers’ have been congregating on the car park late at night and creating a disturbance until the early hours.
Now posters have been put up around the Wharf Road car park warning that the police have the power to seize vehicles from drivers who repeatedly rev their engines loudly or wheel spin around the car park. A police spokesman said: “Anyone causing anti-social behaviour will be given a Section 59 warning and potentially have their vehicle seized.”
