Residents are still being urged to make their voices heard to stop the plans to close Bemersley Tip, Biddulph, Staffordshire Moorlands.
Campaigners believe that to close Bemersley Tip will cause much inconvenience to residents and will increase fly tipping.
Staffordshire County Council are proposing to start consultation to close Bemersley Tip. However, the Report on which the Council is using to form the basis of that consultation is flawed because of the many mistakes within it.
On 16th April 2014, the Cabinet withdrew this item from their cabinet discussions, but made it clear that it was not withdrawing the item, it was only going to defer the discussions, therefore action is needed now, please sign the petition.
