The long awaited move of the Post Office from temporary accommodation behind the Town Hall back into the High Street has finally gone ahead.
The new location on the site of the Old Roberts bakery at 8-10 High Street opened on Wednesday 9th October to the delight of residents and nearby traders.
The new Post Office is a modern open plan facility with extended opening hours that now are: 6am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
A new Spar Express store will also be included at the site which is expected to open on 18th October.
