Blasting off on 22 July, Space provides fun, positive activities throughout the school summer holiday and gives young people across the county the opportunity to build their confidence, develop life skills, improve their health and general wellbeing.
Space 2019 is now in its fifth year since its relaunch by Matthew Ellis, Staffordshire Commissioner for Police, Fire and Rescue and Crime. Space was originally an activities scheme led by police in Staffordshire aimed at engaging young people before it stopped in the 1990s.
