In April, the Town Council will be introducing a new Town Ranger service to Alsager. The purpose is to help keep our town and environment clean, tidy and maintained. Across our neighbouring Councils, this service has proven to be a great success.
Initially the service will be introduced on a small scale. Over the next few months, the Town Council will be working with Cheshire East Council, community groups, businesses and residents to build up a programme of works.
The types of work that could typically be undertaken by the Town Ranger service:
· Representing the Town Council in the day-to-day community, and at school and community events.·
· Attending classes to assist with planting, wildlife initiatives.
· Reporting of Cheshire East Council issues.
· Painting of railings, bollards, bins.
