The return of a market to Biddulph’s High Street has been hailed a great success.
The first monthly Artisan Market, held in September, was well supported with a good attendance despite poor weather, and stall holders reported good trading with some even selling out of their stocks before the end of the day.
The re-introduction of the street market is aimed at boosting visitor numbers to Biddulph’s High Street. Stalls offering locally sourced food, arts and crafts will be on the High Street, between Wharf Road and Station Road on the first Friday of the month, 9am to 4pm.
The next Artisan Markets will be October 4th and November 1st respectively. Anyone who would like to run a stall can contact the town council.
