Staffordshire Police launches new mobile-friendly website

Staffs police new website copy2A new mobile-friendly Force website which will make it easier for communities to get information and share their views has been launched by Staffordshire Police.

The new site has been designed to be mobile-friendly so it works on phones and other handheld devices and offers comment and social media platforms to allow members of the public to post their views.

The Force’s digital policing team has recruited a focus group from communities across Staffordshire and their feedback will be used to ensure the site continues to be enhanced and developed throughout 2016.

The new website contains more images and video than the previous site and is easier to search for information as well as local policing contacts.

Staffordshire Police Deputy Chief Constable Nick Baker said: “We knew we weren’t getting as much as we wanted from the old website and it was vital we responded to the changing needs of our communities.

“We’ve had the opportunity to make some positive changes and we’ve already had some great feedback from the public. The important message is that we will continue to gather people’s views from across Staffordshire to refine and develop the site and deliver exactly what our communities want.”
