Gold for Biddulph in Bloom

Biddulph in Bloom have again been awarded Gold in the The Heart of England in Bloom competition. The result was announced on Thursday 15th of September at The Heart of England Award Ceremony which took place at Aldridge near to Walsall. Biddulph were the Large Town category winners. There were many entrants in this category who were awarded Gold but Biddulph received the most points! This is the ? Gold for the In Bloom team and is just reward for all their hard work that goes in throughout the year to make Biddulph’s amazing displays. This year the early summer weather presented difficulties for the team making weeds a great problem as growing conditions were perfect for them! Well Done Hilda and the team. In the ‘Best Dressed Public House’ competition, judged by the Mayor Councillor Jill Salt, The Biddulph Arms Hotel was 1st , the Barley Mow was 2nd, and the Staffordshire Knott 3rd. The Bradley Green Weatherspoons was Highly Commended. Biddulph in Bloom remain most grateful for the communities support and encouragement and send our thanks to all the other community groups who have environmental projects which support their entry.
