PIANO RECITAL STARTS 2016 SEASON
Alsager Music & Arts is currently preparing its programme of concerts and events for 2016. This year’s season starts with a piano recital by Jill Crossland at St Mary’s Church, Crewe Road, Alsager at 5pm on Saturday 27th February.
Jill perform works by Bach – a selection from ‘The Well Tempered Clavier’ – Liszt and Chopin. The concert is free of charge but there will be a voluntary retiring collection. Further concerts at St Mary’s planned this year include: Saturday 14th May 7.30pm North Cheshire Wind Orchestra Sunday 12th June 3pm Forum String Quartet Sunday 19th June 3pm Recorder Concert with The Cheshire Set Sun 3rd July 3pm Young Performers Concert Sat 16th July Drum Workshop & concert with Drum Roots Sun 17th July Natsumi & Yuki baritone horn and piano The Trent River Big Band will also perform dance tunes from the Swing era at Alsager Civic on Saturday 24th September at 7.30pm.
